Learn to fly in the mountains of Taos, NM. Fly Taos Sky is a local flight operator in Northern New Mexico offering flight training, flight reviews, IPC, mountain flying, ground school, and more! Fly Taos Sky operates out of Taos Regional Airport. We operate a Piper Cherokee 140 and Piper Cherokee 180. Our Cherokee 180 is a technically advanced aircraft with new Garmin equipment such as G275s and a GTN 650 as well as auto pilot. Our Cherokee 140 is outfitted with G5s and a Garmin 300XL. Our Chief Pilot, Michael McCann, has experience as a United Airlines Pilot operating a variety of aircraft. He´s been flying for 25 years with over 17,000 hours of flight time. Fly Taos Sky offers the unique opportunity to fly in Northern New Mexico and experience mountain flying at its finest. We offer accelerated Mountain Flying courses, as well as flight training including Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, Night Flying and ATP.
