The club has two memberships: one for students and another for licensed pilots. Students pay $200 to start flying at current rates for an instructor and the club’s 172. After soloing, another $400 is due. Upon getting a license, a student must join the club as a full member to continue flying. Full membership entitles members to fly our 172 and, with 100 hours, our 182. The price of club membership is negotiable with members who wish to sell but is approximately $2,300. Students who join as full members within two years of getting their license, are reimbursed $400 of their student membership. In addition to hourly flight costs, full members pay monthly dues to support non-operational expenses such as insurance and hanger rental.
