CFII

A CFII is a CFI with an extra endorsement for instrument instruction. They can teach you to fly in the clouds and sign off your instrument rating checkride.

Smaller schools sometimes have just one instructor, and they may not hold a CFII. Larger schools usually have a few, which matters if your primary instructor is unavailable or fully booked.
