Multi-Engine Instructor
An MEI is a CFI who can teach in multi-engine aircraft and sign off multi-engine ratings. To train for your multi-engine add-on, the school needs both an MEI on staff and a multi-engine aircraft available to rent.
Most pilots add multi-engine after the private or commercial certificate. If the school's fleet includes something like a Piper Seneca or Grumman Cougar and they have an MEI, you can do the whole add-on rating there.
