A membership-based, non-equity flying club providing affordable and highly available aircraft to club members. Nestled in the heart of North-Central West Virginia at the Fairmont Municipal Airport (4G7) and founded in 2020, the Fairmont Flying Club is your gateway to the sky. The club offers flying memberships to pilots of all levels (from Student to ATP), as well as non-flying memberships to aviation enthusiasts who don’t intend to fly. Our three club airplanes feature an IFR certified 1965 Cessna 172-G, with a fresh avionics upgrade including dual Garmin G5s, a Garmin GNC355 GPS/COM, and Garmin GMA345 audio panel. A beautiful IFR 1972 Piper Cherokee 235 - with 1,400 pounds of useful load, a loaded avionics panel and new engine and prop, this airplane makes for a great family hauler for a weekend getaway. And our newest addition, a spotless 1971 Cessna 150L makes for affordable solo flying or training. Now accepting new members!
