About
Empire Aviation Flight School, based at Henderson-Oxford Airport (KHNZ) in Oxford, NC, has been training pilots since 1993. We offer training for Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial, and Multi-Engine certificates under FAA Part 61. Our experienced instructors have amassed over 130 years of flight training, and more than 95% of our students pass their Private Pilot checkride on the first attempt. We operate a fleet of training aircraft including a Piper Cherokee PA28-140, Cessna 172, Cessna 152, and a Piper Apache PA-23 for multi-engine training.
