About
Meet King CFII, MEI, ATP, TCE, Typed GIV, V, VI, VII, Test Pilot Committed to Safety, Learning, and Fun C. King Evans has been instructing Upset Prevention and Recovery since 2003. My philosophy is that the best training comes from a systematic program that has continuity with the aircraft that you fly. As a Large Cabin Test Pilot and former FlightSafety UPRT Instructor, I have the skills to provide that continuity and the best in-aircraft UPRT. About the Courses Regulatory Guidance: According to research conducted by the Royal Aeronautical Society in partnership with ICAO, the CAA, and the FAA, Loss of Control In Flight (LOC-I) is still the leading cause of fatal aircraft accidents, and the only preventative measure is training. The findings from this study were used to produce ICAO Doc 10011 AN/506 First Addition - 2014 Manual on Aeroplane Upset Prevention and Recovery Training. The training 10g LLC provides is in compliance with and meets the training standards and recommendations found in ICAO Doc 10011. Methodical Approach: Our courses use a methodical approach to upset prevention and recovery training. Psychology, physiology, and advanced aircraft control are primary. Pilots are given time to build g tolerance and improve their advanced piloting skills at their individual pace. Then, when prepared, the pilot uses their skills to confidently and comfortably recover from upset both visually and by reference to instruments. The goal is for the pilot to be provided training that will result in safer aircraft operations and reduce the potential of an upset accident.
