Dakota Flight Center is an independent FAA Part 61 aviation training school located at the George McGovern Terminal at Mitchell Municipal Airport (KMHE) in Mitchell, SD. We offer Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, Multi-Engine Rating, Tailwheel, and CFI/CFII/MEI Instructor Rating training. Our fleet includes a Cessna 182 RG, Piper Cherokee Warrior, Gulfstream GA-7 Grumman Cougar, J3 Piper Cub, American Legend Cub, and a Helicopter. Aircraft are maintained by experienced A&P mechanics on the field at Mitchell Airport with 24/7 access and fueling.
